A new application was submitted to the Criminal Cases Review Commission (CCRC) in challenge of the conviction of David ‘Dai’ Morris for the Clydach Murders (i.e. the murders of Mandy Power, 34, her mother Doris Dawson, 80, and her daughters Katie, 10, and Emily, 8, at some time between 7.30 p.m. on Saturday 26 June 1999 and 12.25 a.m. on Sunday 27 June 1999).
Application submitted by John Morris and Paul Dalling, authors of: Force of Evil: Crossing the Thin Blue Line to Murder.
Authority for the submission given by Janiene Morris as her Father, David 'Dai' Morris, is now deceased.

I don't understand why the officer in charge of the investigation was quick to say that Dai had no alibi. Yet he was satisfied that an alibi is satisfactory, if a husband and wife can cover for each other by saying that they were together when the murders took place!
Also I can say is that if I was sloshed and had allegedly taken pills, why would I use a pole to murder people. To use a pole would not cross my mind, besides which where would I find the pole unless I knew where it was located? If I was sloshed I would not use a pole to commit a murder. My movements would be all over the place.
Why are the PII documents being withheld and why is the full investigative report not released. There is not enough evidence to link Dai to the clydach murders. When this case is discussed the argument of how and why Dai would have murdered this family never makes any sense. Where's the motive?
Let get this public enquiry done and all the evidence shown including phone records . And hopefully Dai will get justice ,if there is nothing to hide then it shouldn’t be a problem??!
if the CCRC have nothing to hide - demand that all the evidence is released. Prove to the public that you wasn’t protecting police officers…. And why was you protecting police officers…? - because the police were already being investigated over the horrendous miscarriage of justice criminal and civil case fiasco, of Lynette White in Cardiff…. Yet again, not a single police officer punished. - Even worse unfortunately, some of the very same bent cops in that case, ended up investigating the clydach murders. …. Need I say more…?
One person could not have done all this alone - 3 people with privileged access working together, or covering up for each other, certainly could have ⚖️
