'Ken Stringfellow (2024)' by Sean Bw Parker
Songwriter and musician Ken Stringfellow, known for his work with REM, Big Star, The Posies and others, has released a new single, Trust (link below). Trust is the lead single from Stringfellow's new album Circuit Breaker, deeply informed - if not specifically 'about' - false allegations made against him in 2022, which found him effectively 'cancelled' by the alternative music industry he had called his home for more than 30 years. The pain is evident in the track; but the desire to express himself artistically through the post-#MeToo fire of rhetoric is even more so. Circuit Breaker sems destined to become a landmark piece of Innocence Art.
