Michaelmas daisies (Asters)
Tested
The Devil walks amongst us
as do his disciples
It’s war between good and evil
in which we need to summon our inner Saint Michaels
We are all being tested
and the stakes could not be higher
Forever residing in celestial joy
or damnation in hell-fire
The road leading downwards
may look so appealing
But, hedonists must tread with care
to see what its concealing
It’s why we must think carefully
and live a life of prayer
Unbridled pleasure in this life
only leads to everlasting despair
Some think that to walk with Him
is too difficult and boring
But, the reward and peace from doing right
is what they are ignoring
So, if we choose to take the right path
it will all work out for the best
If we follow "The Way and The Truth and The Life"
we will always pass the test
